The Los Angeles Lakers extended their winning streak to four games on Wednesday (PH time), recording an emphatic 127-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Luka Doncic scored a game-high 42 points for the Lakers, who clinched a spot in the 2026 NBA Playoffs.

Doncic shot 13-for-26 from the field and a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line. He also had 12 assists to record another double-double this season. He entered the record books in this contest following his offensive explosion, passing Kobe Bryant for most points scored in a single month in Laker history.

Five other players scored in double figures for the Lakers, who improved their record to 50-26. Austin Reaves and Deandre Ayton also contributed, dropping 19 and 18 points, respectively.
The Lakers pulled away in the middle quarters to cruise to their 26th home win of the season. They outscored the Cavs 33-19 in the second quarter to build a 65-53 lead at the half.
The Lakers continued to pile on the pressure in the third quarter, outscoring the Cavs 45-30 to put the outcome beyond doubt.
Jarrett Allen scored 18 points for the Cavs, who fell to 47-29 following the road loss.
