Jayson Tatum delivered a historic performance as the Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat 147‑129.

Playing 37 minutes, Tatum finished with 25 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists, and 2 steals, shooting 9-of-21 from the field, 4-of-13 from three, and 3-of-4 from the free-throw line to record a triple-double.

According to team records, the only other Celtic to post a triple-double with similar numbers is the legendary Larry Bird, solidifying Tatum’s place in franchise history.
